Different Marker Colors and their use:
Use: Color:

Yellow and Yellow

Center of 2 way 2 lane road
found on the left signifying the traffic direction change, or a median. They are also used on the right side to indicate the beginning of the shoulder.

White and White


Along lane lines of multilane road

 

White and Red

White Lens for marking lane divisions in one direction, and red Lens to indicate "do not enter" in the other direction

Green

Usually used to indicate that emergency vehicles can open gates to enter a gated community

Blue

Usually used to mark the location of fire hydrants.
